Who we are

There is a business owner in Lagos who woke up this morning and still hasn't received a payment she sent last week. She's not waiting because the money isn't there. She's waiting because the infrastructure that moves it was never built with her in mind.

Juicyway exists to fix that. We are building the financial rails that connect African businesses to the world — cross-border payments, FX conversions, and global liquidity — fast, transparent, and built for the people who have been underserved by every system that came before us. Our mission isn't a slide. It's the reason we come to work: every African should be able to participate in the global economy on equal footing.

We're not improving what exists. We're replacing it.

Role Description

Today, growth teams often spend more time debating data than acting on it. At Juicyway, we want to change that. As our Growth & GTM Engineer, you will build the technical foundation that powers acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth. You will own the systems, instrumentation, integrations, event architecture, attribution infrastructure, lifecycle tooling, experimentation capabilities, and reporting foundations that allow Growth, Product, Commercial, and Leadership teams to understand what is happening across the customer journey and act on it confidently.

This is not a traditional software engineering role focused purely on product delivery. We are looking for someone who thinks like both an engineer and a growth operator, someone comfortable building internal tooling, shipping growth features, improving experimentation velocity, debugging data inconsistencies, and connecting systems together.

This is one of the highest-impact roles within the Growth organisation.

Success in this role will directly influence Juicyway's ability to scale acquisition, improve activation, increase retention, and build trusted growth intelligence across the business.

Who This Role Is NOT For

To respect everyone's time: this role is not suitable for marketing managers, performance marketers, CRM managers, or growth marketers whose experience is limited to using these tools as a dashboard consumer rather than the person who built and owned the infrastructure. It is also not suitable for software engineers whose experience is limited to product feature development or backend systems unrelated to attribution, instrumentation, or growth data.
If your experience is primarily campaign execution, paid media management, or product feature shipping without direct ownership of attribution, event tracking, or lifecycle infrastructure, this is not the right fit, and we would rather you save your time for a role that matches your strengths.

What We Offer

Why This Role Matters

The fastest-growing companies are not necessarily the ones spending the most on acquisition. They are the ones that understand their users best and move fastest from insight to action.

This role is responsible for building that capability at Juicyway.
