We are hiring an Associate Tableau Developer to join us at BCBST! In this role, you will support the delivery of high‑impact dashboards and reporting solutions used across the organization. You’ll partner with senior Tableau developers and business stakeholders to help translate data into clear, intuitive visualizations that support decision‑making. Day to day, you will build and enhance Tableau dashboards, assist with data modeling using SQL and cloud data sources such as Google BigQuery, and help support well‑governed reporting solutions that can be scaled for broader enterprise use. This is a great opportunity for an entry‑level Tableau developer to grow their skills, learn best practices in data visualization and governance, and contribute to meaningful analytics work while being mentored by experienced team members. You will be a strong candidate for this role if you bring the following skills and experience: Hands‑on experience with Tableau (or other tools like Alteryx or Power BI); professional experience is ideal but not required Foundational SQL skills and comfort working with data from relational or cloud‑based databases (e.g., BigQuery or similar) Familiarity with data visualization best practices and an interest in learning Tableau content governance Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile or SDLC‑based environment Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as a developer Note: This is a remote, work‑from‑home position, but the final round of interviews will take place on‑site in our Chattanooga, TN office.
