About the Role
We're looking for an organized and proactive Administrative & Operations Assistant to support our security operations team. This role involves managing schedules, handling urgent staffing situations, and ensuring smooth daily operations through effective communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and reschedule security guards using the Belfry scheduling app
• Answer phone calls and manage guard call-outs, absences, and last-minute staffing changes
• Handle administrative paperwork and ensure compliance with government requirements
• Coordinate effectively across multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
Requirements
• Proven experience in administrative or office management roles
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with ability to handle time-sensitive situations
• Proactive, friendly attitude with eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working remotely with strong self-management skills
• Availability to work weekend shifts ( Saturday and/or Sunday preferred )
• Ability to work 1pm - 9pm EST preferred (flexible)
Nice to Have
• Experience in the security industry or staffing/scheduling operations
• Familiarity with scheduling software or workforce management tools
