About The Role The Front Desk Administrative Assistant at Crum & Forster's Accident & Health division serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors at the Eatontown, NJ headquarters. This vital role ensures a welcoming and professional office environment by managing front desk operations with courtesy and efficiency. The assistant provides comprehensive administrative support, including handling correspondence, managing office supplies, coordinating event logistics, and supporting internal teams such as Accounting and Corporate Communications. Responsibilities also include preparing expense reports, processing invoices, managing deliveries, organizing conference rooms and common areas, and assisting with meeting preparations. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth functioning of the office and contributing to the division's overall success. Qualifications • Associates Degree from an accredited college preferred • 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred • Proven experience in administrative, receptionist, and customer service roles • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Experience in handling expense reports and invoice payments preferred • Insurance industry experience is a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and time management abilities • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, with in-office presence required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Responsibilities • Greet employees and visitors professionally, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere • Provide guest passes and manage security protocols for external visitors • Reserve workspaces for guests without access to the reservation system • Sort, log, scan, and distribute physical mail and packages received multiple times weekly • Unpack and deliver incoming packages from vendors such as FedEx, Amazon, and WB Mason • Send outgoing packages and occasionally deliver items to local shipping centers • Manage and replenish office and kitchen supplies regularly • Ensure kitchen appliances and facilities are clean, functional, and stocked • Organize and maintain the Corporate Communications supply closet and inventory • Support event logistics by packaging and shipping décor and promotional items • Assist with meeting preparation, including reserving conference rooms, ordering catering, and post-event cleanup • Coordinate employee activities and office-wide events in partnership with HR • Act as a backup to the Office Manager, supporting executive administrative tasks as needed • Prepare and submit monthly travel and expense reports for A&H leaders • Process invoices through the designated system and support signature requests when required • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure office efficiency Benefits • Competitive compensation package • Generous 401(k) plan with employer match • Employee Stock Purchase Plan with employer matching • Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday benefits • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • Wellness programs supporting physical, mental, and financial health • Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive environment • Participation in community engagement, volunteer activities, and corporate giving programs Equal Opportunity Crum & Forster is an equal employment opportunity employer.
