Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Account Manager on our Subsurface Technologies team (pipe locating & camera inspection) mainly in Arizona and the parts of Palm Desert in California. You will be responsible for consulting and selling Radiodetection & Pearpoint equipment to our potential and existing customers, in the utility, municipal, contractors, land surveyors, engineers, construction & mining segments. One of your key goals will be to help ensure your customers growth & success. Your time will be spent conducting face to face client meetings and performing site demos within your territory to your named accounts and prospecting for new ones.
In this role, you will...
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction, utility, engineering, and geophysical sectors.
Identify client needs and recommend subsurface technologies such as GPR, utility locators, seismic sensors, and electromagnetic instruments.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new clients to closing deals and providing post-sales support.
Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical consultations.
Work closely with internal teams, including technical support and product specialists, to provide the best solutions for customers.
Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and emerging subsurface technologies.
Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to expand market presence.
Achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
About you...
Technical skills
Expertise in subsurface detection technologies, including GPR, electromagnetic locators, and seismic sensors.
Familiarity with underground utility detection, non-destructive testing (NDT), and geophysical survey methods.
Proficiency in subsurface mapping and data processing software (e.g., GPR data analysis tools, GIS applications).
Experience with CRM and sales tracking software
Qualifications:
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events.
